During a consultation, clients can expect to receive a comprehensive range of services tailored to their comic book collections. Here’s what they will gain:
- Appraisal of Comic Book Collections: Clients will receive a detailed evaluation of their comic books, including insights into their market value, condition assessment, and rarity. This appraisal helps clients understand the worth of their collection.
- Advice on Comic Care, Cleaning, and Pressing: Guidance will be provided on proper handling and storage techniques to preserve the condition of the comics. Clients will learn about effective cleaning methods and the pressing process to enhance their comic books' presentation and value.
- Guidance on Selling Strategies: Clients will receive personalized advice on the best selling strategies tailored to their needs. This includes discussions on whether to sell comics individually or in bulk, which can maximize profits and streamline the selling process based on market conditions and the specific collection.
Pricing Structure:
- A flat fee of $100 covers a basic consultation and appraisal for up to 500 comics.
- An additional charge of $25 applies for every extra 250 comics (long box).
- If the client decides to sell their collection to me afterward, I will waive the consultation and appraisal fees.
